Q&A WITH HOLISTIC HEALTH HEALING

What is your session format & rates?

Investment in Your Healing
At Holistic Health Healing, we offer a complimentary 15-minute Initial Consultation with Hilary Bone to explore your needs, discuss how we can support you, and determine the best therapist fit for your journey.

Following the consultation, clients may begin ongoing therapy with 50-minute or 75-minute individual sessions. We recommend starting on a weekly basis to support the most consistent and meaningful progress. Your therapist may adjust the frequency of sessions based on your individual needs.

Session Rates
Our session rates vary based on the clinician’s experience and specialization:

  • Individual Therapy Sessions: $200–$300 per session (rates range based off clinician’s experienced and expertise)

  • New Client Intake (90 minutes): $400

Sliding Scale Options
We offer a limited number of reduced-fee sessions for clients paying out of pocket. Please inquire about availability.

Good Faith Estimate
In accordance with the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate detailing expected costs. This will be provided upon scheduling or upon request.

I've never been to therapy. What should I expect?

Therapy is a safe and confidential space where you can explore your experiences, identity, and emotions without fear of judgment. It’s natural to hesitate—looking inward can feel uncomfortable or vulnerable at first. But within that discomfort lies the opportunity for transformation.

Through therapy, you’ll find the freedom to express yourself fully, discover your values, and reclaim your voice. It’s a journey toward self-understanding—and toward becoming the most authentic version of yourself.

Why should I try therapy?

In many cultures, including in the U.S., therapy can sometimes carry the misconception that it means something is “wrong” with you. In reality, choosing therapy is a sign of strength—it reflects self-awareness, courage, and a commitment to your own well-being.

Just like visiting a primary care doctor when your body needs attention, therapy is a proactive step in caring for your mental and emotional health. You don’t have to wait until you’re in crisis. If you’re not feeling your best, therapy is here to help you reconnect, heal, and grow.

How do I find the right therapist?

Choosing a therapist is a deeply personal process—and it should feel natural, supportive, and aligned. Think of it like hiring a trusted collaborator: someone you feel comfortable with, who understands your needs, and with whom you can build a meaningful connection.

It’s perfectly okay if it takes time to find the right fit. Trust your instincts—you’ll know when it feels right, and that’s when the real work can begin.

What are the benefits of incorporating restorative yoga into therapy?

Restorative yoga is designed to gently activate the parasympathetic nervous system—the body’s natural relaxation response. When integrated into your therapeutic treatment plan, these calming practices help you reconnect with a sense of peace and safety within your own body.

By learning to self-soothe through restorative movement and breath, you’ll build the capacity to manage stress, regulate your emotions, and respond to life’s challenges without becoming overwhelmed. Over time, this work supports your ability to feel grounded, resilient, and supported from within.

Is therapy forever?

Therapy isn’t meant to last forever—it’s a tool to help you access more of your own inner resources. Every journey is unique. Some clients find what they need in a shorter time frame, while others choose to build a longer-term relationship for ongoing support.

Many of our clients work with us for a season, take a break, and return when life brings new challenges or changes. We're always here—whether you're ready to resume sessions or simply want to share a life update. Therapy meets you where you are, and we’re honored to walk alongside you, however long the path.

Do you take insurance?

We are out-of-network providers so we are not in-network with any insurance companies. However, some people have more out-of-network benefits than they realize when it comes to mental health!

We recommend prospective clients call the number on the back of their insurance card and ask the following questions:

The 4 questions that you will want to ask an insurance representative:

  1.  Does your plan include “out-of-network” coverage for mental health?

  2.  What is your annual deductible for mental health benefits?

  3.  What is your co-insurance? (What percentage does the plan cover?)

  4.  Is there a limit on the number of sessions your plan will cover per year?

It is also helpful to find out how you can submit your Super Bills to your insurance.

Our online system takes payment via anything that acts like a credit/debit card so most HSA and FSA cards are accepted.

What is your cancellation policy?

Full amount charged for missed appointments unless notified 7 days before scheduled appointment unless there is an unforeseen emergency.
